We will show you how to use the template Photoshop files, creating your design, slicing up the design into&nbsp;manageable&nbsp;images and uploading these to your website. This module will include very basic CSS manipulation.<\/div>\r\n<div>Module 5 - Understanding&nbsp;Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)<\/div>\r\n<div>Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) are website documents which contain all the style attributes for your website. We will show you how to read and understand CSS, which is essential if you are wanting to create your own website templates.<\/div>\r\n<div>The following modules are apart of the Lite training package:-<\/div>\r\n<div>Module 6 - Configuration of a Website<\/div>\r\n<div>The first thing you should do with any website is to set it up correctly, this is exactly what this module will show you. From setting up the website title to setting up and configuring your meta-description and meta-keywords.<\/div>\r\n<div>Module 7 - Adding Content<\/div>\r\n<div>The aim of this module is to show you how to make small alterations to the site yourself. While you are on the phone explain to the Franchisee that their is a biannually charge of &pound;25 + VAT, this includes buying the domain name and covers the costs involved of configuring StartASite Version 3.0.                     <br \/> <br \/> <br \/> <br \/> <br \/>\r\n<h1><span style=\\\"font-weight: bold;\\\"><a name=\\\"AddingADomainName\\\">&nbsp;<\/a>Adding a new domain name to a franchisee account<\/span><\/h1>\r\nBackground Reading                     <br \/>When a franchisee (including NRG Digital) would like a new domain, they will fill in the \\\"Add A Domain\\\" form within their franchisee control panel, this will send an email request to info@nrgdigital.net. In this guide we will be looking at WebsiteTemplateA, which follows the following design layout:-                                          <br \/><a title=\\\"Click to see full image\\\" href=\\\"..\/images\/startasite.co.uk\/images\/WebsiteTemplateGuideline.jpg\\\" target=\\\"_blank\\\">\r\n<div style=\\\"text-align: center;\\\"><img style=\\\"width: 436px; height: 242px;\\\" src=\\\"..\/images\/startasite.co.uk\/images\/WebsiteTemplateGuideline.jpg\\\" border=\\\"0\\\" alt=\\\"\\\" \/> <br \/>(Click on image to show the full version)                                                                                                                                                                                                                          <br \/><\/div>\r\n<\/a> <br \/>As you can see the whole width of the page is fixed to 750 pixels, the menu width is 200 pixels, the content frame is 525 pixels, with a 25 pixel border between the menu and the main content frame.                                          <br \/> <br \/>Key points to bare-in-mind, before you start designing:-                                          <br \/>\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>Where your main content will go, this area will grow and shrink with the amount of data, so don\\'t used complex images for the background of this section<\/li>\r\n<li>Each menu item will have the same style applied to each button, therefore you will only need to design 1 button.<\/li>\r\n<li>The provided templates follow these design restrictions, it is possible to ignore these design restrictions but this is not covered within this tutorial. <\/li>\r\n<li>If you require text placeholder, i.e. menu text or some demo content text, you can put it in during the design stage, but before you slice your image disable this text, but making it invisible in Photoshop. <\/li>\r\n<li>Do not destory the sliced area\\'s, as these will be required for the next stage. <\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\nNow you know you these restrictions, go ahead an open one of the provided templates and design yourself a new website.                                          <br \/> <br \/>\r\n<h3><a title=\\\"Slicing \\\" name=\\\"Slicing\\\"><\/a>Stage 2: Slicing the website template in Photoshop<\/h3>\r\nSo now you should have your completed PSD of your new website which is ready to be sliced up for the web.
